Circle Lenses - PinkyParadise.com

Blah blah blah... I get bored of my appearance pretty fast. I love to change my hair color (trying to slow down so my hair doesn't fry), and I love to change my eye color! Especially because my natural eye color has so much yellow around the pupil I feel like an unattractive vampire. Anyway, I've fallen in love with the big circle lenses. I've ordered from several different websites, but Pinky Paradise was definately the fastest to deliver. I think I had the contacts in like 6 days. Many of the other sites took about 2 weeks. I'm not sure if everyone gets the same one, but this cute little case came along with the circle lenses... lmao - Its pigs!

Anyway, the website has all different color lenses for you to choose from and they also come with prescription if you need it. One thing with circle lenses in general that bothers me is the pupil holes. Most of their pupil holes are so big they look rediculous because the natural eye color underneath is so totally sticking out. Out of all the ones I've tried, the G&G brand has the smallest pupil hole. I've only had the Ifax series from G&G, but the other ones look pretty small too. Just a heads up!

Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse

I went to CVS yesterday and saw the new Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse display. They had mini jars of the foundation lined up to test so I decided to try on a few shades. Number 240 - Natural Beige matched my skin perfectly. The rest of the shades were kind of orangey, but this one was a light/medium beige with yellow undertones. Anyway, the smooth mousse felt so nice and cool when I glided it onto my hand. I decided to buy it. I didn't get a chance to try it on my face until today - Disappointed! My skin is more on the dry side than the oily side, and I've never had a problem with it being shiny or oily looking. When I put this on, I literally looked like I put baby oil on top of it - Dewy x 2000! My face was sooo shiny, and it made my pretty small pores look like they were huge. On one side of my face, I added MUFE HD Microfinish Powder and it helped after I buffed a ton in. On the other side, I put Mac Studiofix Powder which made it look way better, but most of my foundations I don't have to add anything else to make it look good. I think this foundation would be better for anyone with extremely dry skin, especially in the winter.

Favorite Summertime Perfumes

I love to smell yummy and I'm sure you do too! Anyways, I'm very picky with my perfumes, but these 3 passed with flying colors.

The first perfume is Viva La Juicy, by Juicy Couture. This has a very feminine scent to it that's nice and light but lasts all day. It kind of smells like a mix of vanilla and some type of berries or flowers. I'm not great at describing perfumes lol, but my Fiance loves it!

The second perfume in the red apple bottle is Nina, by Nina Ricci. When I met up with my friend one night, right after my hello, I instantly asked her what she was wearing. That's how I discovered Nina Ricci. This perfume is very fruity and sweet. It smells so good to me, but if you are not a fan of sweet smells, you will hate it!

The last one, Fresh and Clean, from the Victoria's Secret Pink collection, is a body spray and I purchased the body lotion to go with it. The bottle says its a mix of crisp apple and soft lilly, but it has a clean grapefruity smell to me. Either way, it smells wonderful, and is definately not too overwhelming!

The best brush that ever happened to me

Sooo I've been on the search for the best foundation brush ever and I've finally found it! Originally, I used some random flat foundation brush and eventually upgraded to the Mac 187 brush. My foundation looked much better but I still wasn't 100% satisfied. I planned to get the new Mac 130 brush, but when I studied it at the store, I decided against it. Then, I went to Sephora and this beautiful brush caught my eye. I messed with it for a few minutes and then immediately purchased it.
(From the Sephora I.T. collection - Natural foundation brush)

When I arrived home I decided to try the brush out with my MUFE hd foundation. This brush made the foundation glide on as smooth as butter on a hot, hot bagel. I used small swirly motions until my face was covered. It was the most even and natural looking foundation application I've done since I started wearing makeup! Also, there were no stray hairs shedding from the brush, which is definately a plus. The brush is a little pricey at $36.00, but it was so worth it to me, I went and bought another one just in case something evil happened to the one I already had lol. Five stars*****!
